An English translation of this past Saturday’s AMA session in the Binance Turkey Telegram group.

We are grateful to the Binance Turkish moderation team for working with us to execute a great AMA!

Segment 1

Greetings

Welcome AMB team, great to have you here!

Feel free to shortly introduce yourself and AMB to our community. 😁

Segment 1 Q & A

Can you tell us about you and about your project?

My name is Lang Mei and I am the newly appointed CEO at Ambrosus Ecosystem. Having previously had exposure to enterprise IOT and AI through my tech startup informu, I first came across information about Ambrosus in December 2021. Ambrosus founder Dr. Stefan Meyer and I got in touch, and I quickly learned more about Ambrosus and its ecosystem. Two months ago, Dr. Meyer entrusted me with leadership of the Ambrosus Ecosystem, and we are currently in a phase of accelerated growth to build on the core principles of Ambrosus was founded on back in 2017.

As it stands, Ambrosus is an enterprise-level blockchain company with primary focuses on supply chain optimization through IOT and also on decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. As presently constituted, its main source of revenue comes from B2B sale of digital data storage packets called bundles, which are copied and securely distributed across Ambrosus’s vast network of community-operated nodes. Moving forward, additional value will be created through the building of a native decentralized exchange (DEX) and the development of an ecosystem of DeFi projects running on the Ambrosus Network, objectives that carry along with them the opportunity for additional revenue streams.

What is the utility of the AMB token?

The AMB token (or coin technically, since Ambrosus has its own native blockchain) is a utility token that serves multiple functions within the Ambrosus Ecosystem. It fuels transactions, acting as gas similar to other EVM blockchains. It also is staked in masternodes, which come in 3 core classes. Apollo nodes serve as validators on the network and are crucial to verify and execute transactions. Hermes nodes are typically operated by development-oriented parties for the purpose of utilizing AMB-NET, whether this be building and offering their own complimentary solutions or uploading data bundles for secure storage in the third class which are Atlas nodes. We are currently in the process of developing and launching bridges to Ethereum and BNB Chain as well, so when those are completed, there will be wrapped AMB tokens available on these other networks.

What is Ambrosus’ biggest challenge in trying to bridge the gap between traditional commerce and IOT/blockchain?

I would say the biggest challenge is adoption. Many traditional companies are unfamiliar with the blockchain space, so when they are introduced to new technologies such as the ones that Ambrosus provides, there is a learning curve that we need to flatten as much as possible to effectively communicate the value of our solutions. Additionally, many companies move very slowly when it comes to which blockchain solution or Layer-1 network they want to go with for their business, so we need to make it easier for them to understand the nuances of different blockchains and why the Ambrosus Network offers the capabilities to optimally deliver what they need.

Essentially the same applies to IOT, especially when it comes to the ultra secure sensing devices designed by the Ambrosus co-founder Dr. Stefan Meyer. The vast majority of people and enterprises do not understand the security threats they’re exposing themselves to. For example, few understand that their smart home camera is prone to cyber breaches.

I’d say that slowly more people are starting to understand the value of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. The same will happen to the EC01, a cryptographically secure IOT device that stores its data on the Ambrosus blockchain.

What sets Ambrosus apart from other Layer-1 blockchain networks?

There are a few different factors that both set us apart from many other blockchains and also make us more attractive at an enterprise level. As a PoA EVM-compatible Layer-1 network, AMB-NET was specially designed for high throughput and decentralized data storage.

Most blockchains positioned themselves as Ethereum-killers, whereas Ambrosus foresaw the multichain future. AMB-NET is a fully independent and decentralized blockchain counting over 740 nodes: 200 validators and 500 storage nodes.

$AMB is a low cap coin, and our chain harnesses a ton of untapped potential for the community and our ecosystem partners.

What are some of Ambrosus’s upcoming developments and how do they reflect or build upon your project’s core vision?

Given the architecture of our blockchain ecosystem, we are now heavily supporting DeFi development as well as IOT and decentralized data storage. We will launch our ETH bridge next week and establish a trading pair for wrapped AMB on SushiSwap. This will be followed in close order by a bridge to BNB Chain that will be accompanied by a liquidity pool on PancakeSwap.

Furthermore, we will be launching two marketing campaigns with Binance as well: Learn & Trade and Binance in-app staking. You can currently stake in a masternode (amb.wiki) or via staking.ambrosus.io as well, but this offers a new way for Binance users to stake from their own Binance wallet.

Next, we have entered a partnership with a well-known US-based PR agency that will help Ambrosus reach a larger consumer and business audience. Not only will we talk about our unique blockchain and story, but we will also promote the EC01 sensor, which is the first-ever ultra-secure IOT device connected to our blockchain.

Meanwhile, on the enterprise side we will continue our collaboration with Swiss Wine and ZIMT as data is being uploaded to our blockchain and stored across our vast network of community nodes.

Now it’s time for the long awaited Segment 3!

For Segment 3, before opening the chat, we have chosen 2 good questions from our social media channels:

The key is community and community/investors primary concern is security. So, as #Ambrosus, do you have any plans for a hackathon program that will reward community members for finding bugs?

Our developer team, lead by CTO Igor Stadnyk, actually manage a top blockchain development team in this space. Fact is that our mainnet has been live, secure, and stable ever, since it was launched more than three years ago.

Of course we do encourage the community to test our DeFi applications and that is why we are in the process of launching a bug bounty program for discovering critical bugs in the ETH bridge which we will launch on May 12th! To add to that, we are looking to host and join in person crypto events. The aim is to host at least one hackathon this year. Follow us on Twitter to stay updated, or come say hi in our Telegram chats.

@langmeii You recently served as CEO of Ambrosus. First of all, I congratulate you for this. We invested in Ambrosus and there was a reason that impressed us in this project. You took the lead of this project and what influenced you to be involved in this project?

Thank you! I am a tech entrepreneur and engineer, and had my own successful US-based IoT startup before I joined Ambrosus. Personally, I believe in the future of patents as NFTs, and I saw that Ambrosus provides decentralized storage and is designed in such a way that it serves as the fundamental and scalable infrastructure for NFTs, IoT and DeFi.

So like I said I am an engineer, and I see the potential to have my own patents secured as NFTs. This is how I learned about Ambrosus, through its NFT and IoT partner Emerald Circuit.

Where we stand now as an project in the crypto space does not match the great tech Ambrosus possesses. Just based on the tech alone, it should be rated among the top 100 projects on CoinMarketCap. And that is my current mission: to make it happen.
